Our client, a busy Managed Care MSO, is looking to hire multiple remote temporary full-time Health Insurance Call Center Customer Service Representatives.
Candidates/ Applicants are required to live in one of the following 4 states to be eligible for consideration: Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Texas, and must be
Interview process: You will be given an assessment (on line). If you pass the assessment, then you will have a 15 min interview with the hiring manager.
These are entry-level temporary at least 3 months, maybe longer, full-time positions working Monday-Friday from (8:00am to 5:00pm).
Job Responsibilities
• Assuring the accurate and timely handling of client and member calls, about 50 incoming calls per day, with total follow-through.
• Answering client and provider questions, including, but not limited to, benefits, eligibility, enrollment, provider look-ups, claims payment, status, and coverage information.
• Interpreting client health plan protocol.
• Check tracer documentation.
• Maintaining accurate and complete call documentation.
• Returning incoming calls.
• Backup to the Claims Processing Department, assisting with reports and workflow queues as assigned.
Job Requirements
• One to three yrs of recent call center CS experience, preferably in the healthcare insurance field.
• Health Care/Health insurance knowledge/background is preferred.
• Experience with BCBS HMOI or other insurance plans is a plus.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective problem resolution skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred.
