Our client, a prominent office furniture manufacturer, has a need for temporary Accounts Payable Specialist for about a month to cover for a FMLA leave. This is an immediate need. This is a full-time position, 8 – 4:30 pm, M-F with a half hour lunch. This client is located near Pulaski and I-55, close to Midway Airport in Chicago. Candidates with felonies will not be considered suitable for this position.

The client seeks a responsible, computer literate, detailed oriented person who must show up 5 days a week. You must have effective written communication skills. The candidate should be flexible to multi task, have effective organizational skills; be a self-starter and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The qualifications for this position require a 2-4-year bookkeeping/accounting degree. You must have at least 2-3 years of accounting experience; in a manufacturing environment preferred. You must have a mastery of Excel 2013 (Advanced) with strong Outlook and MS Word skills as well.

Responsibilities include:
Daily Duties: Matching invoices with & without PO’s and AP Reconciliation
Weekly Duties: Check Run Procedures & Reporting
Monthly Duties: AP Reconciliation.
Other Duties include managing discrepancy logs and vendor set up & maintenance.

This position pays $20.00/hr.
