Financial Administrative position Lincoln Square area of Chicago

 

Our client, a real estate property management company, located in the Lincoln Square are of Chicago is seeking to hire a Financial Administrative Assistant.  This is a direct hire, full time position.  The location is a four block walk from the Damen Stop on the CTA Brown Line.  

 

Duties:  Providing general accounting support for the operation of the company.  You will be using QuickBooks to support the senior accounting/admin person for the enterprise.  You will be responsible for paying; mortgage payments, general bills, subcontractors, inter-company payments and for scheduled and unscheduled repairs for buildings.  You will also assist with payroll.  Hours are M-F 9am to 5pm with an hour unpaid lunch.

 

Qualifications: 

Knowledge of QuickBooks is required,

Knowledge of Microsoft office Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience in assisting with payroll.

Knowledge of real estate business is highly preferred  

 

This is a nonexempt, hourly position.  It includes 7 paid holidays per year and six days (48 hours) of pro-rated sick/personal time the first year.  After one year an additional week of vacation is accrued.  Company does not offer health insurance.
