Our client, a growing and busy Union Health & Welfare Fund located in Chicago, has a need for an experienced Human Resources Analyst.
This is a hybrid partially remote (2 days onsite) direct-hire, full-time position working Monday-Friday from (9:00am to 5:00pm).
Job Responsibilities
- The Human Resources Analyst is responsible for effective HR administration, analysis, reporting, auditing, process improvements, and project support.
- Maintenance and analysis of HRIS and payroll systems and data, benefits and compensation data, labor law and compliance matters, and support for full employee lifecycle and performance management, training and development, and other areas as assigned
- HRIS and Payroll System Maintenance
- Applicant Tracking System, Onboarding & Offboarding, Benefits: Open Enrollment, Life Events, and New Hires, Employee Surveys, Performance Management, Payroll Administration, Time & Labor, Self-Service Portal/HR Personnel, Training & Development
Labor Law & Compliance
Employee Life Cycle: Attraction, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, Development, Retention and Transition
- Partner with HR Executive to conduct periodic reviews of performance, benefits, and compensation trends, ensuring internal and external equity to attract and retain high-performing employees, compensation analysis, calculating bonuses, exit interviews, etc.
Technology
- Maintain contract tracking of all office equipment and software agreements, and review contracts for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Evaluate, research, and recommend technology solutions/processes
- Maintain user management of the organization’s workforce databases and systems.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of Human Resources experience, with 3 – 5 years of direct reporting and data analysis experience utilizing Paylocity or other HRIS systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or significant relevant and recent work experience.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and time-management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Preferred Excel skills must include proficiency with importing/exporting data, pivot tables, V-lookups, relational databases, and charts.
- Advanced user of HRIS software, Paylocity is preferred.
