Our client, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Countryside, IL, has an immediate staffing need for an Entry Level Physician Office Medical Collector for an onsite, full-time role. This is an estimated 1-3 month temp position that may be extended or even possibly go temporary to hire as you will be covering for an employee currently out on an extended medical leave.

Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00am to 4:30pm)
Estimated Project Length: 1-3 months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: $20/hr

Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for handling the collections for Patient Accounts and Medicaid Claims for both Medical and Behavioral Health.
• You will be responsible for making collection calls and maximizing reimbursements.
• Collecting and posting payments and coordinating payment plans when necessary.
• Obtain patient demographics and insurance information needed for billing.
• Scan, upload, and file EOBs as needed.
• MEDI secondary claim entry.
• Claim status checks via portals or phone calls.
• Assist with claim disputes via portals or phone calls.
• Prepare and mail patient statements.
Job Requirements
• A minimum of 1 year of recent Physician Office Medicaid Reimbursement / Collections experience is required.
• CareLogic and eClinicalWorks experience is a plus but is not required.
